Kenneth L. Wallach
The fourth generation of his family to lead Central National Gottesman, Ken became Executive Chairman in 2015 after 17 years as Chief Executive Officer. As Executive Chairman, Ken remains active in CNG’s affairs, and helps assure that the ideals and values that made CNG what it is today continue to guide the company’s strategy and actions going forward.
A graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Law School, Ken is also heavily involved in a number of organizations in both the paper industry and in various philanthropic areas.
He serves as a Trustee and member of the Executive Committee of the American Museum of Natural History; as a Director of the National Book Foundation (sponsor of the nation’s preeminent literary prize, the National Book Award) and chair of its investment committee; as a Director and member of the Executive Committee of the 92nd St. Y, a nonprofit cultural and community center in New York City; and as a Director and member of the Executive Committee of Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts.
Ken is also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, a fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences (where he serves as Treasurer, Chair of the Finance Committee and a Director), and a member of the Harvard Committee on University Resources.
